We are looking for an experienced **Compliance Officer **to join our dynamic team. Could that be you?

As our **Compliance Officer**, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our schools are compliant and follow up-to-date legislation. Your role will play a pivotal part in maintaining a safe, legal and ethical environment for our students, staff and visitors.

**About the Role and You**

**Contract type**: Full-time, permanent

**Working pattern**: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm

**Start date**: Immediate start available

**Salary**: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum

**Interview dates**: Week commencing 13th November

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your main responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with our school administrators to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
- Conducting regular audits to assess the school's adherence to fire, health and safety compliance policies.
- Identifying potential risks and hazards and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assisting in the creation and review of risk assessments to enhance safety protocols.
- Staying up to date with relevant regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintaining a register of all policies and updating them in line with legislation updates.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
We are looking for someone who has:

- A Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, IOSH qualifications or a degree in a related field, showcasing a solid academic foundation.
- Experience within an educational environment, preferably a school setting. [Desirable]
- Previous audit experience, demonstrating an understanding of compliance assessment.
- Proficiency in risk assessment processes to identify and address potential hazards.
