We are seeking a dynamic and driven New Business Sales Manager to lead and inspire our New Business Sales Executives, driving revenue growth within the public sector (sub-100 employees). You will play a pivotal role in achieving annual sales targets, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of New Business Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through regular feedback, training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Inspire the team to exceed expectations by promoting consultative, value-based selling techniques.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Deliver contract revenues aligned with the Company’s business plan, commission scheme, and individual sales targets.
  • Self-generate and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospective customers, leading sales activities from initial engagement to successful deal closure.

Market Expertise & Strategic Selling

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Payroll and Human Resources market, including its culture, trends, and structure.
  • Understand managed service delivery and leverage this knowledge to create compelling sales propositions.
  • Bring expertise in selling to the public sector, ensuring alignment with its unique challenges and requirements.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information using the CRM system.
  • Prepare and dispatch high-quality sales documentation to maintain professionalism and continuity with prospects.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and provide insights into competitive activity and market trends.
  • Drive market awareness by staying informed through industry articles, periodicals, and discussions.

Professionalism & Company Representation

  • Uphold and project the company’s professional image at all times.
  • Ensure all sales activities are conducted with integrity, quality, and attention to detail.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in selling into the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Payroll and Human Resources market, with the ability to stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in consultative, value-based selling and creating tailored sales propositions.
