The Role

The Laws Student Engagement and Support Officer provides administrative support in key areas to ensure that Undergraduate Laws students are successful in their studies. The main duties of the post include supporting online study events, responding to student enquiries, and assisting with the production of the monthly newsletter and learning resources.

The successful candidate will have experience of providing administrative support in a highly demanding and challenging office environment, and will have excellent organisational and communication skills, including the ability to work with a wide and diverse range of colleagues, students and stakeholders. Experience of event management and formulating and continuously improving office practices and procedures would also be advantageous.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
