The Growth Company (GC) are looking for a highly motivated Grants Co-Ordinator to join their busy team. Within this role, you will be reporting to the project manager, where you will be assisting the delivery team by developing and maintaining robust claims and compliance systems and processes. The Grant Co-Ordinator will also ensure accurate and robust verification of clients grant claims with high compliance.

Please note that this role is a fixed term opportunity until 31 March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining robust claims and compliance systems and processes to enable efficient, accurate and timely processing of client grant claims.
  • Compiling a high standard of documentary audit trails for robust verification of client grant claims.
  • Create and maintain an effective tracking system that monitors the progress of all individual grant claims and overall project performance.
  • Ensuring all company files are up-to-date and maintained for all beneficiaries- making sure they are well-presented and fully compliant with funding requirements.
  • Working to deadlines to create to produce management information reports, reports for the senior team as well as the boards/partners- But also making sure all financial admin is completed accurately i.e raising purchase orders/sales invoices, processing claims and invoices and completing financial period reconciliations.
  • Creating and producing packs of information for the Head of Innovation when appraising grant applications.
  • Liaising with clients to provide advice and guidance to the grant claims process and evidence requirements.
  • Handling general enquires such as calls, correspondence, web, email and face-to-face- Making sure they are dealt with effectively and accurately.
  • Accurately inputting data/information into the CRM system and other databases. Where applicable conduct your own desk-research and pass down the information to colleagues, partners, and clients.

Experience:

  • Previous experience handling finance/grant claims.
  • Worked previously in a Project environment.
  • Provided administrative support to a diverse team.
  • Good knowledge of Grant processes and procedures.

About you:

  • Brilliant communication skills- Both verbally and written.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Educated to A level or higher.
  • Confident IT Skills- Word, Excel, and database management.
  • Confident in working in a team but also individual
