We are currently seeking a Legal Operations Co-ordinator to join our growing and dynamic team of legal professionals in the Glasgow Office. The role will operate remotely within office time in our head office in Manchester. This is an opportunity to work with an engaging and friendly team and to make a real difference developing and improving operations within our growing Scotland office.
You will proactively drive forward the operational performance of the department, taking accountability for the delivery of service to our clients, employee productivity and revenue performance; whilst identifying areas of inefficiency and suggesting/implementing improvements when needed.
You will also take responsibility for a number of operational areas within the team, including billing, SLA compliance and training. The individual will be required to coach teams to ensure that employees are working in line with best practice and understand the importance of data reporting. The individual will manage the production of Management Information as per stakeholder requirements.
You will also be building strong relationships across the business, the individual will also deliver operational improvements and drive efficiencies through the use of technology, data and innovation.
What will you be doing?
You will drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, embedding best practice, increasing productivity and improving efficiency across the office. You will implement and drive the progress of strategic projects, liaising with key stakeholders, reporting on progress and delivering tangible benefits.
This role is a great opportunity for you to work across the firm and collaborating with different departments to achieve business excellence. In this role you will proactively identify, develop and implement new initiatives which help improve client service and the performance of the team/department. You will be identifying areas for improvement to create greater efficiency and accuracy in file handling/management within teams. You will be required to assist in effective preparation of client audits both internal and external, also to ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards.
What do I need?
You will have previous experience within a similar role and demonstrate the below attributes and skills;
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Able to meet deadlines and escalate where appropriate
Experience of producing client MI, reviewing and interpreting data
The ability to influence and promote change through a variety of stakeholders
Experience of process review or implementing operational efficiencies
The ability to take a proactive approach to work and make informed decisions (escalating to the Legal Operations Manager when necessary)
