About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will enjoy providing high quality administrative support to the clinicians and office manager in the unit. You will be part of a small, affable, busy team. The successful candidate will be able to work alongside the other members of the team in the Hip Research Unit to provide excellent data to help improve the ongoing care and treatment of our patients. Our team has a good working relationship with colleagues, are dedicated to their work and support each other.

The purpose of the role is to help with the various research projects undertaken in the department and provide the clinicians and patients with research forms at both pre-op and post-op appointments. These forms will then need to be audited and entered into a database. The post holder will be expected to be proactive and work independently when required.

Successful applicants must have excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with patients on the telephone.

A good knowledge of Excel would be desirable.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 08:30 - 16:30
