The main function of the Crew Performance Manager role will be to manage a mix of FSM, CSS and Cabin Crew with specific focus on their performance, productivity, talent development and happiness.

Day to day
Some of your key responsibilities as our Crew Performance Manager will be:
Build and develop a successful team of crew, who are clear on our vision and values and how they contribute. Manage Employee Relations cases in a timely and professional manner, ensuring our policies and people experience are outstanding.Support the management team in delivering innovative and dynamic ways of building a community between the crew and their Performance Managers and will share a focus on business plans, key messages from our company leadership team and the critical role that Cabin plays within this. Supporting the OBM's within your team through coaching and development as they provide a key leadership role in supporting you and their teams onboard. Ability to use data and insights as this will be critical in delivering a strong culture within our crew teams that contributes to our business NPS and VOC targets. There will also be a focus on the performance management data to drive performance of our crew via the OBM teams.Based at London Heathrow Airport, this role works a 4-on 2-off pattern with additional coverage at our crew training facilities at CAE Gatwick. This role will engage with our crew community and promote business activity and plans and aid understanding to their team via face to face contact, team meetings and webinars.You will be required to fly as operational cabin crew, every 8 to 10 weeks. This will require you to complete an intense 5 week Cabin Crew training course Flying in rank as Cabin Crew you will drive greater insight into the challenges faced by our crew, building impactful relationships, driving crew engagement, and understanding in support of our Velocity X ambitions and Cabin strategy.Be creative about how to communicate effectively to a large, remote audience. Coaching and mentoring your team by flying with them on regular basis. You'll also provide feedback to your team and other partners in the business as part of this role. About you
We're seeking a highly professional, personable and data driven individual to join our fantastic team.

In addition to the above, we'd love for our successful candidate to demonstrate the following:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in leading or supervising a large team is essential (so that you have experience a variety of seasons/conditions)Experience of leading in an operational environment is crucialStrong employee relations background with experience in handling complex cases is neededAbility to effectively coach and develop to drive performance and engagement is essentialGood business sense and a curiosity and/or experience in the wider Aviation and Travel IndustryStrong data and insight experience specifically for use in performance management of teams or individuals.Ability to work at pace and in an agile way, build relationships with others, demonstrate integrity, be open minded and resilient.A valid Cabin Crew attestation is desirable and candidates with recent flying experience will be prioritised.
