The Internal Communications Executive is responsible for supporting the Internal communications Manager to drive the engagement of our teams across the business, through key business activities.

The role holder will provide support across the business to ensure communications align with wider business strategies. A key part of this role will be to oversee communications across a variety of offline and online channels, as well as working on projects to evolve content and drive colleague engagement.

A typical day in this role includes:

- Liaising with different departments of the business, supporting the Internal Comms Executive and Digital Content Lead to create content and communications that engage our audiences

- Working with stakeholders including the Exec team, Operations, People and Marketing to cascade information to the wider business

- Developing innovative and engaging content that shares messages clearly and consistently across Superdrug, encouraging teams to participate on the internal communications platform

- Participate and lead on projects within the Internal Communications team to the deliver the Internal Communications Strategy across the year

- Maintaining a rolling calendar of activity across all internal channels, Superdrug Talent and LinkedIn, that aligns with our Employer Brand

- Supporting the commercial strategy for the business, providing updates across internal channels

- Reporting on and analysis of internal and external channels, to share updates with key stakeholders, providing opportunities for them to evolve their approach

- Working with Internal Communications Manager to plan and run virtual and live Head Office conference events

- You have excellent communication skills including copy writing and editing content for a variety of audiences, reflecting the appropriate tone of voice, sentiment and clarity

- You are good at developing new ideas and delivering clear communication across the business

- You are motivated by the challenge of finding new ways to engage with our teams across the business

- You get satisfaction though developing, delivering and reviewing campaigns

- You enjoy networking, developing relationships and keeping up to date with industry best practise

What you'll need:

- You understand the core principles of internal comms and why this is important to our business

- You enjoy working to deliver a strategy and understand how to measure its success

- You have experience working with a number of digital platforms including Canva, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and SharePoint

- You're able to film and edit content including videos, podcasts and social media assets

- You're able to adapt your approach and flex your plans based on the needs of the business

- You're organised and able to manage competing priorities and projects
