About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at Zotefoams, a world leader in cellular materials technology. As a dynamic self-starter, you will execute tactical and strategic marketing communication objectives by delivering high-quality content that engages target audiences at every touchpoint across a range of unique products in our core portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications Campaigns: Plan and implement campaigns that align with our strategic objectives, leveraging your expertise in trade media relations and technical marketing.
  • Content Creation: Develop a wide range of written content, including press releases, feature articles, blogs, brochures, and internal communications, to effectively communicate our brand story.
  • Media Programmes: Plan and implement national and international trade media programmes to further our objectives and increase brand visibility.
  • Promotion: Identify and pursue speaker and award opportunities to promote Zotefoams and its innovative products.
  • Trade Shows: Develop communications plans for trade shows and leverage these events to showcase our products and expertise.
  • Social Media Collaboration: Liaise with our Social Media Manager to ensure cohesive messaging and effective brand representation.
  • Internal Communications: Collate and create content to inform and engage colleagues, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Collateral Production: Support the creation of market and application brochures, digital assets, and other communications collateral.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Network with a range of stakeholders, including customers, end users, colleagues, media, suppliers, partners, and influencing bodies.
  • Audience Communication: Engage with target audiences through various channels, including website, email, and social media.
  • Event Attendance: Represent the company at conferences and exhibitions as required.
  • Campaign Evaluation: Evaluate and report on outcomes of communications campaigns, providing insights for future improvements.

    Requirements

    • Qualifications: A Marketing Qualification is preferred. Relevant degrees include marketing, communications, advertising, English, business, and management.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a B2B marketing/commercial role in an international company or specialist communications agency. Technical marketing experience is a plus.
    • Skills: Experience in trade media relations within a technical field, ability to explain complex technical subjects in an accessible manner, proficiency in writing a variety of content for different channels and audiences, good understanding of social media channels and engagement strategies, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
