Position Overview: Marketing & Communications Specialist (Maternity Cover)

Are you an innovative communicator skilled in transforming complex information into compelling narratives? At Zotefoams plc, a leader in cellular materials technology, we are seeking a talented Marketing & Communications Specialist to effectively convey our cutting-edge products to a global audience.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being primarily based in London.

Role Responsibilities

As a proactive individual who can navigate the intricacies of communication, you will be responsible for executing both tactical and strategic marketing communication initiatives. Your focus will be on producing high-quality content that resonates with our target demographics across a diverse range of Zotefoams products.

You will engage with various sectors relevant to Zotefoams' core operations, including aviation, space, automotive, electronics, packaging, and defense, to articulate the distinctive Zotefoams narrative. This role also provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the marketing and communications efforts for our innovative product, ReZorce Circular Packaging, recognized as the most sustainable beverage carton globally, during a pivotal phase of its market introduction.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Campaign Development: Design and execute communication campaigns that align with our strategic goals.
  • Content Development: Create a variety of written materials, including press releases, articles, blogs, brochures, and internal communications.
  • Media Relations: Develop and implement national and international media strategies to advance our objectives.
  • Brand Promotion: Seek out speaking engagements and award nominations to enhance Zotefoams' visibility.
  • Event Strategy: Formulate communication plans for trade exhibitions and capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Social Media Coordination: Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Internal Engagement: Gather and create content to inform and engage staff members.
  • Marketing Materials: Assist in the production of brochures, digital content, and other marketing collateral.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build relationships with customers, colleagues, media, suppliers, and industry influencers.
  • Audience Engagement: Communicate with target audiences through various channels.
  • Representation: Attend industry conferences and exhibitions as needed.
  • Campaign Assessment: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, English, Business, or Management is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a B2B marketing or communications role within an international context or a specialized agency. Technical marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Skills: Proven experience in trade media relations within a technical domain. Ability to simplify complex technical topics for broader audiences. Proficient in crafting diverse content for various platforms. Strong understanding of social media engagement strategies. Excellent interpersonal abilities. Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
