VNA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Development Manager for our client based in Chelmsford. The main duties of the role are:
- Appraise a development land opportunity for potential acquisition, working with ERF's fund and asset managers to assess the nature and extent of market failure
- Lead on the negotiation of a promoting agreement for a sector development project, supporting the legal and finance teams to complete the transaction
- Lead on appointing design and technical consultants during RIBA stages 0 to 2
- Promote health and safety, environmental sustainability and quality management in a positive and constructive manner
- Lead on securing planning and other consents for a town centre refurbishment project, working closely with the Project Manager assigned to the project
- Advise on the market-facing aspects of a light industrial Grow-On Space development, ensuring that premises meet occupier needs to maximise financial and non-financial outcomes
- Meet with asset and lettings managers to discuss performance of lettings and disposals at a development of light industrial Grow-On Space units.
