About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Software Development to join our team at Jonas Software UK. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our software development team and driving the creation of high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of software developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects and the development of new products.
  • Software Development: Oversee the development of software products, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of new features and functionality.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Client Management: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop software solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders on team performance, project progress, and software development metrics.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in software development, including experience with agile development methodologies and a deep understanding of software development principles.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing software development teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the software industry and the ability to develop software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
