Job Summary

CBSbutler is a leading company in the space, aerospace, defence, and industrial markets. We are seeking a highly experienced Embedded Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and optimization of embedded software systems.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with other team members to provide bid and business development support, including reviewing and specifying technical proposals, conducting trade-off analysis, and supplying estimates for effort, development time, and material cost.

Requirements

  • Industrial Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an embedded software engineer using C for reliability software.
  • Technical Skills: Experience developing bare-metal embedded software for 32-bit ARM processors (SAM Microchip, STM32), software development to MISRA C coding standards and guidelines, good understanding of hardware interfaces, embedded firmware development, deployed onto and interfacing with bespoke hardware, understanding of digital circuits, and ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team environment, and strong communication skills.
