The Role: Development Project Manager - Education & Infrastructure
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Project Manager to join our Capital Investment and Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of civil and building projects within the education sector, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, for a range of educational infrastructure projects.
- Develop robust project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on project status and key performance indicators.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing complex construction projects within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of relevant building regulations, codes, and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
