Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Project and Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems within Water industry projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation systems within Water industry projects
- Lead Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation projects from concept through to completion
- Assist with the development and review of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering designs
- Manage installation and commissioning activities
- Coordinate key stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery
- Develop and manage commissioning documentation
- Attend and lead regular meetings with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation systems, including ability to interpret electrical drawings and key documentation
- Familiarity with electrical system installations, MCCs, and control panels
- Project engineering or similar experience
- Ability to manage installation and commissioning activities, resolving issues during the process
- Experience in the Water Industry (preferred)
Desirable Skills
- Ability to work within a closely integrated team
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexibly between site, office, and from home
- Ability to interpret information and data related to the role
Education
An Engineering Degree or Higher National Certificate (dependent on experience) is essential for this role.
