The Team:
This position is part of the Global Markets Credit (GMC) team within the Enterprise Credit organization. GMC ensures consistent credit underwriting for trading and lending relationships in Global Markets. The role involves managing credit for Private Equity Funds managed by Sponsors in EMEA and APAC regions.
Role Description:
As the role involves managing credit underwriting for trading and lending exposures, responsibilities include coordinating globally for consistent underwriting and monitoring of the portfolio. Collaboration with various teams is essential for leveraging expertise and promoting responsible growth.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new business opportunities, provide early feedback, and participate in the screening process
- Work with front line unit on due diligence, recommend transactions, and respond to Risk reviews
- Prepare underwriting materials and secure credit approvals, engage with partners, and monitor transactions
- Contribute to credit underwriting aspects such as policy development, risk rating, and audit processes
- Support Enterprise Credit initiatives, liaise with stakeholders, and assist in special projects
- Prior experience in credit risk management, credit underwriting, or related areas
- Familiarity with Private Equity and non-regulated fund sectors in EMEA and APAC regions
- Knowledge of traded products, derivative documentation, and experience in reviewing lending transactions
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and adaptability to new programs
