Executive Director, Global Credit Finance Leader

The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Global Credit Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of collateral assets and providing expert commentary on the loan market.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct collateral portfolio reviews and provide input into deal structuring as it relates to collateral assets.
- Approve collateral assets for inclusion in financing facilities and conduct fundamental credit analysis of loans.
- Work closely with clients, sales, and risk teams to identify new business opportunities and manage existing relationships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, sales teams, and risk management.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and regulatory issues affecting the credit finance industry.
- 10+ years of experience in leveraged lending, corporate credit risk management, or portfolio credit.
- Extensive knowledge of European private credit and broadly syndicated loan markets.
- Credit risk management mindset with the ability to identify and assess factors that can lead to credit deterioration.
- Familiarity with structured credit/loan warehousing is an asset.
This role operates within a normal office environment, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.
