About the Role

Page Executive is seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our Leveraged Finance team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of credit officers, providing credit risk and market risk assessment, and implementing the bank's Risk Appetite Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Credit Risk Management: Provide credit risk and market risk assessment of net take and underwriting positions, with a focus on large cap sponsor and cross-over corporate transactions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of VP/AVP credit officers, and contribute to the development of the LBO team to support the Business Strategy of EMEA.
  • Strategic Decision Making: Attend Special Credit Reviews, setting strategy for the credit and assessment of provisions, and lead negotiations for the bank in LBO Special Credits.
  • Process Improvement: Challenge the status quo to build stronger control function and front offices capabilities, processes, and systems.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training on all aspects of LBO risk, including grading, documentation, and credit analysis.
Requirements
  • Experience: Seasoned credit professional with commensurate lending experience leading and negotiating deals in a front office or credit role, with knowledge of large cap and cross-over corporate transactions.
  • Skills: Strong people skills, ability to interact with and operate with the trust and respect of deal team leaders and senior management, as well as junior staff.
  • Education: Degree-level education and/or equivalent professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, ACT, CFA, MBA) with longevity years+ and experience at a high level in the financial sector.
  • Financial Skills: Very strong numerical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and review and interpret financial models, including identification of drivers and potential errors.
