Position Overview:

Director File is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our expanding technology risk assurance division at the senior director level. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction and execution of IT Audit initiatives.

As a global entity, we are in search of an individual capable of steering the delivery of top-notch IT Audit services, particularly within the financial services domain. You will oversee a team dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards in our audit methodologies.

This position not only promotes personal career advancement but also integrates you into our national leadership team as we enhance our business and support our audit functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Encourage innovation in our audit delivery, focusing on areas such as Advanced Data Analytics, IT Governance, Cyber Security, Technology Resilience, and Data Privacy.
  2. Develop and outline technology-driven audit strategies to effectively address audit risks.
  3. Review team outputs to ensure adherence to stringent audit quality standards.
  4. Implement strong project and financial management practices within the team.
Leadership:

Guide a committed team managing a portfolio of IT audit projects. Collaborate with audit teams to strategically allocate resources, define audit scopes, and formulate project plans to fulfill External Audit requirements. Partner with senior leadership to achieve and exceed quality benchmarks.

Client Service Excellence:

We are committed to delivering exceptional client service. We are looking for a director who exemplifies this dedication, introduces innovative ideas to enhance our service delivery, and acts as a primary contact for project-related inquiries.

Innovation and Development:

Contribute to the creation of methodologies and internal guidelines. As a member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in business development initiatives, including leading proposals and engaging with prospective clients. Cultivate strong internal networks and relationships to support our objectives.

Represent Director File at industry events, and stay updated on our diverse service offerings. Share insights on the latest technological advancements with both the leadership community and our clients.

Technical Expertise:

Participate in IT General Controls and Business Process Control activities, integrating controls testing and data analytics into our audit framework. Evaluate the financial audit implications of IT risks and control deficiencies, manage cyber risks, and assess IT system implementation controls.
