Team Overview:

This position is part of the Global Markets Credit ("GMC") team within the Enterprise Credit division. GMC is tasked with ensuring thorough and consistent credit assessment for Global Markets trading and lending activities, covering a range of products and client segments.

Role Responsibilities:

Your role will involve overseeing credit assessments and continuous monitoring for a portfolio of trading and lending exposures related to Private Equity Funds in EMEA and APAC. You will manage products such as FX, Interest Rate hedging, and capital commitment facilities. This position requires close collaboration with a global team to maintain uniformity in underwriting and portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating new business opportunities, providing initial feedback on structure, terms, and client selection during the screening phase.
  • Collaborating with front-line teams on due diligence, structuring terms, and recommending transactions for risk review.
  • Preparing credit approval documentation and securing necessary approvals while engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Monitoring transactions, including industry trends, client performance, and asset quality.
  • Contributing to credit underwriting processes, including policy development, risk rating systems, and audit responses.
  • Supporting the Enterprise Credit team and liaising with stakeholders on emerging issues and reporting requirements.

Candidate Profile:

We seek candidates with relevant experience in credit risk management, underwriting, structuring, or related fields. Familiarity with the Private Equity sector and knowledge of traded products, including FX and interest rates, is essential. Proficiency in derivative documentation and experience with credit analysis tools is also required.
