About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join our Structured Finance Ratings team at S&P Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing critical insights and analysis to support our credit ratings and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Portfolio Management: You will be responsible for owning a portfolio of credits, primarily focused on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
  2. Research and Analysis: You will work closely with analysts to provide research and analysis for the Structured Finance team, including analyzing data and reviewing documentation.
  3. Transaction Analysis: You will conduct in-depth analyses on complex Structured Finance transactions, identifying and measuring risk factors and presenting findings to credit committees.
  4. Presentations and Recommendations: You will independently prepare and present analysis and recommendations to credit committees, as well as participate in ratings committees.
  5. Modeling and Research: You will review and run cash flow models, undertake research in support of S&P Global Ratings published commentaries, and understand and implement S&P's Policies.
  6. Special Projects: You will take the lead on special projects within Structured Finance as appropriate.
Requirements:
  1. Education: A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related subject is required. A postgraduate degree or CFA qualification is a plus.
  2. Experience: Relevant industry experience in CLOs and/or Securitization, credit analysis, or related analytical fields is essential. Typically, an S&P Global employee at this level would have 3-6 years of analytical work experience in the financial services industry.
  3. Skills: Demonstrable work experience with CLOs (Securitization) documents, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-changing, global, and regulated environment, proactive team player with a willingness-to-learn and an analytical mindset, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English (both written and verbal), and the ability to prepare professional analyses and reports.
  4. Desirable Skills: Another European language and good/advanced knowledge of Python and/or R are desirable.
