Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Credit Analyst

**Job Summary:** Intesa Sanpaolo, a leading banking group in Italy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join its team. As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assembling and submitting written credit proposals/recommendations to the London Credit Officer in favor of new and/or existing counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collect and analyze financial information, industry data, and research reports to assess the creditworthiness of counterparties.
  2. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the counterparties' business models, financial performance, and risk profiles.
  3. Prepare and submit credit proposals/recommendations, including financial statements, industry analysis, and risk assessments, in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with the Relationship Manager, London Hub Legal Department, Product Desks, Rating Desk, and Credit Officer Team to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the credit granting process.
  5. Attend meetings, presentations, and events to gather information and build relationships with existing and potential counterparties.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant experience in Multinational Corporate Clients within a banking or rating agency environment, covering various financial products.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with fluency in Italian a plus.
  4. Postgraduate degree in Economics and/or related fields, with CFA certification or progress towards a plus.
  5. Minimum 2-3 years of seniority in Corporate Credit Analysis at major financial institutions.
  6. Permission to work in the UK.
