**Job Title:** Senior Credit Analyst
**Job Summary:** Intesa Sanpaolo, a leading banking group in Italy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join its team. As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assembling and submitting written credit proposals/recommendations to the London Credit Officer in favor of new and/or existing counterparties.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze financial information, industry data, and research reports to assess the creditworthiness of counterparties.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the counterparties' business models, financial performance, and risk profiles.
- Prepare and submit credit proposals/recommendations, including financial statements, industry analysis, and risk assessments, in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Relationship Manager, London Hub Legal Department, Product Desks, Rating Desk, and Credit Officer Team to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the credit granting process.
- Attend meetings, presentations, and events to gather information and build relationships with existing and potential counterparties.
- Relevant experience in Multinational Corporate Clients within a banking or rating agency environment, covering various financial products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with fluency in Italian a plus.
- Postgraduate degree in Economics and/or related fields, with CFA certification or progress towards a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of seniority in Corporate Credit Analysis at major financial institutions.
- Permission to work in the UK.
