*with overtime hours as required

Salary: G5 Scp 20-25 pro-rata to hours worked. Actual salary: £10,610.95

We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer who will work closely with the senior leadership team who have designated responsibility for safeguarding children in our school.

We are looking for a self-motivated, positive, approachable person with a flexible working ethos. The appointed person will support and work in partnership with children and their families to help them make positive changes and achieve their best possible outcomes. They will also liaise with a range of multi-agency professionals involving SEND, Early Help and Children's Services.

The successful candidate will ideally have extensive experience of working with disadvantaged and hard to reach families in a professional capacity, also multi-agency working. They must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to child protection, safeguarding, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection will be required.

The role will also involve some basic administration duties including answering telephone calls into shcoo.
