Job Description

The Design Director's responsibilities are across three core pillars of Design, Strategy and Commercial that will broadly cover;

Lead the design process from conception to completionCreate fit-out design solutions/specifications from a technological, sales, operational and marketing perspectiveEvaluate current design guides, (including furniture) against commercial goals, ensuring delivery of cost-saving targetsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into creative and commercially viable design solutions Manage a team of remote designers and encourage professional growthEnsure all design projects align with the company's existing and new brands to elevate the brand stackOversee the budgeting and scheduling of design projectsKeep abreast of the latest trends in the property industry and incorporate them into designsInterface with procurement/supply chain teams on all design input
Manage all design redesign-related queries from fit-out and partner teams
React to customer and centre feedback to retrospectively improve the design on a centre-by-centre basis
Adapt design to local legislation, availability, production, and customs in compliance with the brand design guidelines and manage relevant country stakeholders
Present design concepts to stakeholders and implement feedback effectively
The Successful Applicant

The successful Design Director should have;

A qualified architect with experience as a designer A career background in co-working, office or residential is preferred Proven experience in leading a design team to implement economical designsMotivated by challenges with an inquisitive mindset on the way things are currently doneSuccessful track record of enhancing and elevating designs and processes Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies Strong knowledge of the property industry Excellent project management skills Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills Exceptional communication and presentation skills Fluent in business English What's on Offer A competitive salaryAn attractive bonus package Additional benefits package Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment
