Join us as a Governance & Delivery Manager

  • In your new role, you'll support the team overseeing the end-to-end construction and execution processes
  • We'll look to you to serve as the key contact for risk and compliance matters, ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory and internal standards
  • This is an opportunity for an experienced manager to share their subject matter expertise and help shape the future direction of the function
What you'll do

This key role will see you leading the oversight of collateral or credit management client trade pooling activities, managing compliance processes, and addressing any dealing issues that arise. We'll look to you to run rebalance trade management processes and manage run books for trade implementation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, including accurate and timely execution by the team coordinating with dealers.

You'll also be:

  • Overseeing operational, risk, and best execution activities, maintaining compliance and mitigating risks across the department
  • Conducting training on pooling and collateral management and fulfilling delegate responsibilities for annual testing and presentations
  • Providing support for various projects as a subject matter expert, ensuring successful project delivery and seamless integration into business-as-usual operations across teams as needed
  • Representing the construction and executive teams in forums, providing end-to-end management and oversight support to ensure alignment and coordination across the organisation
The skills you'll need

To thrive in this role, you'll have an understanding of operational risk and resilience management principles in trading and asset management along with the ability to develop corrective action plans to address compliance issues in the UK.

You'll also have familiarity with compliance, pooling requirements for trading and investment management with knowledge of portfolio construction and the ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with trading activities and portfolio construction.

Furthermore, you'll have:

  • Proficiency in creating detailed reports and maintaining documentation for compliance and regulatory purposes
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to convey complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of financial markets and trading with an in-depth understanding of UK financial regulations and knowledge of best execution policies within financial services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to senior management, regulatory bodies and clients in the UK
  • Relevant professional qualification supporting capital market and portfolio management experience, notably the IMC qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing functions including FX, Fund Trading, Securities and Exchange traded derivatives
