Business Development Manager – Legal

An established and full-service City-based law firm are on the hunt for a gregarious and effective Business Development Manager to join them, starting as soon as possible and on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone to step up from Advisor level to their first Management role.
In a newly created role, you will be led by the Head of BD and work closely with the marketing team to support across an exciting and diverse portfolio of tenders, bids, proposals, seminars, events, digital marketing, PR, responsible business and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers
- Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
- Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, 3 + years of experience as a senior key point of contact within business development and be proactive, engaging with their assigned departments and also identifying opportunities.
We are looking for candidates who are energetic, driven, and focused individuals with the ability
to quickly establish rapport with stakeholders and manage internal and external relationships.
Ideal applicants will have marketing/BD experience in a professional services environment (legal would be preferred and experience or a familiarity with real estate or housing is highly desirable).
- We are also open to an experienced Senior BD Executive who is looking to step up and can demonstrate comparative metrics.
