Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Sales Director to join our team at Wonderful Recruitment & Development. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding our existing customer base within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including High Street retailers, Non-trade customers, Clearance customers, Book Clubs, and online businesses.
  • Commercial Strategy: Collaborate with our commercial teams globally to develop and implement effective commercial strategies that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the rapidly changing retail market.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in business development and/or sales roles in the publishing, gift, toy, media, or environment sectors.
  • Skills: Agile communication skills, ability to build strong relationships, and experience with developing promotional plans with retailers (including POS materials).
  • Knowledge: Strong base knowledge of the book, toy, and entertainment market.
  • Software: Familiarity with SAP and Biblio is an advantage.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of c. £40-45k DOE + Bonus and a hybrid working pattern with office location in central London.
