About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) with a specialism in challenging behaviours to join our team. This full-time role has become available due to our expanding support team, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
You will be working closely with our KS1 and KS2 students, particularly those requiring additional behavioural support. The class sizes are small, ensuring you can provide focused attention and make a significant impact. The role offers a competitive daily salary ranging from £85 to £100.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of SEN practices and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with challenging behaviours.
• Implement tailored behaviour management plans.
• Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and record students’ progress and report to the SENCo.
