About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis, as a new addition to our SEN team. This role highlights our commitment to providing high-quality, specialised support for our students. With a salary of £85-£100 per day, you will be responsible for supporting students with ASD across Key Stages 1 and 2, implementing tailored strategies to enhance their learning experience. Working closely with teachers, you’ll develop individualised support plans for students in various class sizes. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational experience of students with ASD, with the added benefit of being part of a supportive, collaborative team and having opportunities for professional development and growth.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Strong understanding of ASD-specific teaching strategies and interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with ASD.

• Implement individualised learning plans and strategies tailored to students’ needs.

• Collaborate with teachers to monitor and assess student progress.

• Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
