WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?


Due to business growth we are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support the Reward Team in all transactional activates relating to employee benefits and payroll.


The Payroll Administrator will play a pivotal role, working as part of a team, to ensure that all 4 monthly payrolls for 850 employees are processed accurately and on time ensuring compliance with HMRC, Pensions Regulator and other statutory duties.

This will be a Full Time role, working 36.25 hours per week. Initially this position is fixed term for 12 months, with a possibility of being made permanent.

Reporting to the Reward and People Systems Manager, duties will include:

  • Assist with end to end payroll processing and employee benefits
  • Support the administration of the pensions auto enrolment process
  • Monitor and support the administration of the Payroll mailbox. Expedite and manage responses within agreed timeframes, working closely with the team to provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in developing and testing new and/or existing payroll processes and procedures when system and business requirements change
  • Assist with various payroll audits as required by internal and external audit teams
  • Support with any adhoc payroll/reward projects

Able to use own initiative and work autonomously, as well as part of a team. A good level of competency with technology is especially important, particularly with word and excel.
