Utopian Professional Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working in partnership with a national organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Advisor (Level II) to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a fully remote position suited to an experienced payroll professional who offers end to end payroll experience with technical knowledge and leadership qualities.

Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you will provide accurate delivery of high quality information, administration, processing and reporting of payroll services.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- You will be responsible for managing the end to end payroll process for your own clients, ensuring that all payrolls are accurate and completed on time
- Review payrolls to schedule for errors and working with the Payroll Advisor (Level I) to resolve before being sent to the end client
- Be a point of contact for any escalations and payroll queries from Payroll Advisors (Level I)
- Lead and organise the team based on the client calendar and payroll manager
- Liaise with clients and other third parties to resolve any queries
- Ensure high quality, integrity and timeliness of any payroll reporting, management reviews and any other analytical reporting
- Working across the wider business to ensure client reporting, payroll delivery, pension administration including auto enrolment, RTI submissions, HMRC payment reconciliations etc are completed accurately and on time within the team
- Ensure casework, reporting and schedules are met in support of KPI’s and SLA performance in line with contractual standards
- Manage workflow using CRM tools and ensuring customer standards are adhered to
- Carry out key activities in absence of the Payroll Management

**To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience**:

- Previous experience working at a similar level ideally with supervisory experience
- Ability to perform manual calculations
- Experience in managing end to end payroll
- Strong technical knowledge and experience
- Offer an agile approach with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs
- Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables
- Background working with clients - internal or external
- Ability to provide solutions and take ownership
- Knowledge or experience using IAW and/or IRIS software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong team player who is approachable, confident and positive
- Excellent work ethic who leads by example
- First class organisational skills with the ability to multi task and think on their feet

**Benefits**
- Full Time opportunity working 37.5hrs per week - Monday to Friday between 8.30-5.30pm
- This is a fully remote position, except for occasional meetings where travel to Belfast will be required with expensed travel
