We are looking for an Operations Administrator to join our friendly team in Alnwick.

Main Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Selection

  • Advertising for available volunteer and staff positions.
  • Undertaking all administrative duties relating to the recruitment process.
  • Taking up checks such as references and DBS.
  • Setting up online training accounts for staff and volunteers.
  • To assist the Operations Manager with Human Resources filing systems and additional online databases.

Induction & Training

  • To assist the Operations Manager to plan, coordinate and participate in Induction sessions for new staff and volunteers.
  • Participate in staff and volunteer training events as required.
  • Answering general enquiries from staff and volunteers.
  • To provide support to staff and volunteers with their elearning.
  • To monitor the staff and volunteer training matrix.
  • To support and coordinate administration and reception volunteers, amending rotas and booking cover as necessary.

Health & Safety

  • Health and Safety administration and record keeping, including the incident reporting system.
  • Coordinate maintenance for all HospiceCare facilities.

Administration

  • Assist the Clinical Team with administration support as required.
  • To ensure staff and volunteer details are up to date and recorded correctly.
  • Reception duties when and if required.
  • Stock control of office supplies, and ordering where necessary.
  • Cash Handling and receipt writing.
  • Opening and distributing the post/posting all Hospice correspondence
  • Minute taking as and when required.
  • To undertake any other administrative duties as required.
