Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurances strategies to ensure compliance with aviation regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, and processes for aircraft maintenance, operations, and related services.
  • Provide support, and training to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Design implement, and oversee quality assurances programs, including audits and inspections.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities, industry organisations, and stakeholders to stay updated on changes in aviation regulations, standards, and best practice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, safety, training, to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to measure quality performance and track progress towards quality objectives.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with aviation regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Investigate quality incidents, safety occurrences, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Provide support during regulatory inspections, customer audits, and quality management system certifications.
What you will need:
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices including Part 145 Safety Management Systems.
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance, quality management, or regulatory compliance leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK aviation regulations (CAA/EASA) and international aviation standards.
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems.
