As a Hybrid Infrastructure BDM at Bechtle you will work within the Pre-Sales team to uncover and solve business and technical problems for new and existing customers. You will understand customer goals and challenges within your area of responsibility, providing solutions, with our strategic vendors, to meet the requirements.

 

You will take lead in working with our key Hybrid Infrastructure vendors and service partners, you will articulate their solutions into customers to meet the general challenges of modernising and scaling on-premise/cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow revenue, expand market share, and increase customer satisfaction with both existing and new accounts.

 

 

Job Role Responsibilities

 

  • Understand solution selling, seek to fully understand the business and technical challenges our customers face in Hybrid Infrastructure and ensure that sales and presales are equipped to
  • Deliver the proposition to meet the challenges, supported by templated offerings and services
  • Proactively hunt new business within the sales teams and educate Account Managers on our key solutions, especially around those delivered by Bechtle in-house services.
  • Develop and promote infrastructure centric Bechtle managed service offerings to complement our existing product solutions.
  • Actively manage on-going and strategic relationships, keeping our Hybrid Infrastructure portfolio updated – with focus on growing relationships such as HPE, DELL, Lenovo, Cisco and Juniper.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Bechtle’s product portfolio and competitive landscape.
  • Work with Account Managers to grow key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders to help develop new sales opportunities.
  • Alongside Marketing, build and execute campaign and demand generation activities for our strategic vendors.

Job Requirements

 

  • Understanding of enterprise IT hardware, software, and datacentre solutions (preferred)
  • Must be organised, adaptable, flexible and a good team player.
  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Good analytical skills, able to make sense of data and report on it.
  • Ability to manage and track lead generation and a sales pipeline through CRM or a sales management system.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement business plans in line with overall company objectives.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the technology industry is required.
  • Proven track record in consultative selling and winning new business.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
  • Experience working with networking and/or datacentre solutions (preferred)
