Job Description
Objective
The Ticketing and Reservation Officer is responsible for planning and making reservations for Wakanow customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
  • Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
  • Checking the availability of accommodation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
  • Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
  • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations
  • Providing support to customers who have already made travel purchase by confirming, changing or canceling the reservations
  • Notifying passengers about involuntary flight reschedule or cancellation
  • Selling add-on travel products, such as hotels, travel insurance etc.
  • Informing clients of essential travel information, such as travel times, transportation connections, and medical and visa requirement.


Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Ticketing and Reservation role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Amadeus and other GDS platform
  • A deep knowledge of the aviation industry and ticketing rules.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.


Requirements
Ø BSc/BA in business administration, sales, tourism or relevant field Ø Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role Ø Proven sales track record Ø Experience in customer support is a plus Ø Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Ø Proficiency in English Ø Market knowledge Ø Communication and negotiation skills Ø Ability to build rapport Ø Time management and planning skills
