Norma is a contemporary and vibrant restaurant, inspired by the food and culture of Sicily with particular emphasis on the Moorish influences of the Island’s cuisine. Norma embodies the celebrated old-school Italian hospitality and charm, taking inspiration from the grand café culture found in Sicily. Set across three floors of a characterful townhouse on Charlotte Street in London’s Fitzrovia, the first two floors are dedicated to the restaurant, with the top floor a private dining space. At the heart of Norma is the crudo bar at the entrance, serving up the freshest seasonal raw seafood.

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a busy operation and fine dining is crucial
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Qualification

What will I be doing?

  •  To manage all aspects of restaurant
    operations across all sites within the division, ensuring the overall business
    sales and profitability targets are achieved or exceeded
  •  To achieve operational success for the
    restaurants ensuring that product, service, presentation and quality standards
    are met at all times. 
  •  Assisting the F&B Director, you
    will manage and oversee all aspects of the day to day management of the
    restaurants incorporating the bars, events, retail and other service/revenue
    streams to ensure that the team deliver the product quality, consistency &
    presentation within the financial parameters of the annual budget
  •   You are responsible for maintaining
    appropriate food hygiene practices and due diligence as designated by
    legislation to include all HACCP, H&S, Food safety recording and
    documentation by overseeing internal H&S committee meetings
  •   Ensure that all sites are legally and
    statutorily compliant at all times
  •   Manage labour resource in line with
    budget to maximise service delivery
  •   To be fully versed in all duties in
    order to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery proactively seeking
    improvements and reacting to challenges as they arise
  •  You will be responsible in assisting in
    recruitment and development of the team by identifying and retaining key talent
    by implementing strong succession planning and career progression
