We are now looking for a Strategic Service Accounts Manager - EMEA to join our team anywhere in EUROPE.

 

The Strategic Service Accounts Manager is accountable for driving growth in Service sales and profitability with the assigned Accounts, towards defined short- and long-term targets, securing Vertiv is the Account’s preferred partner during the entire Product Lifecycle period.

Working together with the Strategic Account Managers/Directors, you will manage the relationship with assigned Strategic Accounts in a long-term perspective owning the Service Account plan/reviews process and representing the company in front of the Account’s stakeholders.

You will be responsible for implementing Service sales strategy, aligned to overall Vertiv strategy, and working with peers, local Service Organisations, and other internal functions, to exceed Customer expectations.

  Key responsibilities:
  • Is responsible for Service Sales targets for the assigned Accounts.
  • Manage the longer-term building and maintenance of relationships with his/her Accounts and the resulting Customer Satisfaction.
  • Anticipates Commercial and Technical needs, investigates underlying causes and identifies short- and longer-term solutions.
  • Is responsible to create and follow up Service Account Plan and Service Activity Plan. Creates and leads Service business development plans over the short to medium term.
  • Manage the sales of all service pillars working with Strategic Account Managers.
  • Work with the Sales Account Manager in charge of the Account to provide “one face to the customer” interface.
  • Contributes to the monitoring of the market, identify new business opportunities, and propose and drive Service Action Plans.
  • Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company Code of Conduct and Trade Compliance.
 

As an individual you will need to have segment industry experience, commercial acumen, and the capability to build strong networks internally within the Vertiv community. The achievement of your targets will require effective coordination between the different business segments to fulfil customers’ requirements, so strong communication skills are key. Furthermore, you will need to have the technical competence to understand the full breadth of the Vertiv service and product offering. 

 

Service sales are an extremely important revenue stream for Vertiv, and consequently we are looking for a highly competent, energetic, and ambitious individual to take on this role within the organization.

 

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Business management or Economics.
  • Min 3 years proven track record in management of Service/Service Sales 
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent Business Negotiations skills and relationship builder
  • Highly developed communication skills 
  • Segment Competitors’ landscape knowledge.
