The role

The University of Bristol is looking to appoint an experienced facilities management professional responsible for delivering a variety of facilities management services to the University of Bristol, with primary responsibility for a zone of academic and professional services buildings.

This role is open ended with fixed funding until September 2026.


What will you be doing?

Based on the main university campus, the Facilities Manager will provide facilities management to a portfolio of buildings including complex highly serviced academic spaces, ensuring a pro-active service to building occupiers.
 
Working closely with faculty and departmental heads and building occupiers, the Facilities Manager will deliver health, safety and service requirements (including property inspections and fire risk assessments) along with co-ordinating Campus Division activities on site.
 
In this position, you will join a friendly, experienced facilities management team, committed to delivering excellent customer service and a teaching and research environment fit for a top 10 UK university Coming at a time of growth for the University, the role is varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable, offering the right blend of support and autonomy to enhance the offer and value of the service.
 
The Facilities Management team is highly regarded and forms part of the wider Campus Division which provides expert estate-related services across the University.
