Oxford, United Kingdom Oxford Health NHS Trust Full time

Job summary

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity within the Oxford Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT). With big ambitions for our service as we expand county-wide, we are looking for a bold and skilled clinician to join us as a Clinical Lead.

The Oxford CRHTT operates in the community seven days a week. Our multidisciplinary team provides urgent care for individuals aged 18-65+ who are experiencing mental health crises as an alternative to hospital admission. We view crisis as a meaningful crossroads in a person's life, utilizing various models, including biopsychosocial perspectives and the recovery model, to understand and support our service users and their trusted persons. Our goal is to co-produce care and support in the least restrictive way possible.

As a crucial part of our service, we deliver urgent crisis resolution assessments and treatments, ensuring that care is provided in the least restrictive environment possible. Additionally, the CRHTT responds to the acute needs of service users under a range of mental health teams, including the Early Intervention Service and Perinatal Mental Health Service. We aim to support service users to avoid hospital admission or enable discharge.

The ideal candidate will role model excellent care and help us shape our service as we achieve fidelity to the crisis model.

Main duties of the job

Our work is interesting and varied with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills both in the workplace and via our excellent Learning & Development team.
