TheOpportunity:

As the onshoreInspection Coordinator you are responsible for providing support toinspection projects throughout all stages from tendering tooffshore execution to reporting.

You are anexperienced Inspection Coordinator and are passionate aboutdelivering high quality inspection data. You have a flexible andadaptable approach to work and be able to attend projectmobilisations as required.

You must thoroughlyunderstand work specifications project requirements and clientobjectives.
You should have a good understanding ofvarious type of inspection data systems and equipment and becomfortable with specifying and appraising systems asappropriate.

MainResponsibilities

  • Communicateeffectively with the on and offshore projectteam.
  • Keep the onshore Inspection Lead informedof project inspection activities.
    Ensure adherence tocompany policies and processes including when attendingvessels.
  • Demonstrate commitment to andpromotion of Rovco values ensuring the realisation of company andproject health safety environmental quality and ethics systemspolicies and procedures.
  • Ensure that inspectiondata and delivery processes are adequately controlled and qualitychecked.
  • Attend tender meetings as required andprovide guidance on inspection resources.
    Supporttendering managers and review project proposals asrequired.
  • Ensure Inspection Equipment isproperly specified and acquired prior to projectstart.
  • Write project procedures and createoffshore workpacks and Ensure offshore team has all requireddocuments data and systems.
  • Check equipment atbase prior to mobilisation and ensure specified equipment isreceived by vessel.
  • Assist with equipment andsystem setup as required.
  • Ensure all projectdata and documents are delivered to the Inspectionteam.
  • Liaise with project team and onshoreInspection Lead as required in relation to any issues withequipment preparation suitability and/orperformance.
  • Act as the onshore point ofcontact for all inspection related issues during projectexecution.
  • Attend vessel calls as requested bythe PM.
  • Report ongoing progress and issues tothe onshore inspection lead.
  • Provide technicaland procedural leadership for project inspectionactivities.
  • Attend demobilisations if requiredto support the offshore team.
  • All records(including documentation of returns) of equipment movements kept upto date on company systems.
  • Liaise with theoffshore and IT team to ensure all data is suitably backed up asper agreed process.
  • Prepare onshore datadelivery site.
  • Ensure that the offshore teamreports and faults or damageappropriately.
  • Ensure replacement equipment isprovided as required.
  • Track the creation anddelivery of reports from the offshore team.
  • QCand/or create reports from inspectiondata.
  • Prepare final deliverables for issue toclient.
  • Prepare and support the deliveryplatform.
  • Report progress to PM and onshoreinspection lead.
  • Respond to client comments asrequired.
  • Follow data QCprocesses.
  • Complete Daily and Weekly qualitycontrols and complete the assurancework.
  • Complete adhoc activities at the requestof the Inspection Lead or PM as required within agreedtimeframes.

Youshould apply if youhave:

  • Desired5 years 3.4U experience with 2 years in a similar or equivalentrole.
  • Hold current CSWIP 3.4ucertification.
  • Hold a valid UKdriving licence.
  • Valid OGUK medicaland BOSIET/FOET/HUET (desired but notessential).
  • Experience in planningoffshore inspectionprojects.
  • Experience of inspectiondata acquisition andreporting.
  • Proficient in the use ofinspection software and MSOffice.
  • Significant ROV inspectionproject experience.
  • Experience ofmobilisation calibration and demobilisation of inspectionequipment.
  • Excellent communicationskills and ability to laisse effectively with internal and externalstakeholders.
  • Full professionalproficiency in the English language both verbal andwritten
