The role


This position will oversee, lead and manage the business service function for the London office whilst working collaboratively with international senior stakeholders and Partners in London.


This role will be a key support to all department heads in London, being a trusted advisor to the Managers/Senior Managers whilst giving them autonomy to lead their departments how they see best.


The DOA will be a crucial support to the managing partners providing a supportive and influential guidance to the partners when needed. The DOA will be pivotal in working strategically with the partners to help them reach their goals within their practice groups.


In summary, the DOA will provide overall strategic and tactical leadership to ensure all office functions and personnel are aligned in providing seamless client service and responsive support and provide leadership in addressing current and anticipated needs by developing and deploying effective solutions.



What do you need?


The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree plus at least seven years of experience as an Office Manager/Director in a legal or professional services environment, or equivalent experience.


You need a proven record of successful leadership and achievement of results in a variety of roles in a professional services industry. Proven ability to work collaboratively across organisations in achieving results.


Experience in managing a business to the expectations of shareholders, management and employees.


The firm is looking for a positive-minded and enthusiastic individual who is excellent at forming long-standing relationships.
