A dynamic and innovative architecture and master planning practice is seeking a talented Bid Manager to join their expanding team. With over 400 architects and designers strategically located across regional headquarters in London and USA, this practice designs and delivers projects at all scales and complexities.
Their diverse portfolio showcases versatility and creativity, covering sectors such as mixed-use, retail, office, residential, hospitality, transport-oriented development, life sciences, education, civic, and cultural. They are currently looking to appoint a Bid Manager to join their London studio. If you have a passion for working in a dynamic international architectural design practice and possess the required competencies, they would love to hear from you.
To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of eight years of relevant experience and be degree educated or have equivalent industry experience. Previous working experience in the architectural industry is highly preferable. You should have demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in tender submissions and proposals, procurement regulations, and contract management principles. Being organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines is crucial.
Additionally, previous experience managing projects and initiatives, a good business and numeracy sense, proficiency with Microsoft Office packages and Creative Suite software (particularly InDesign), and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach are essential. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, independence, and self-motivation to work under pressure are also required.
