With a vibrant team of over 90 architects, designers, and researchers, their studio is a hub of creativity, dialogue, and interdisciplinary work. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to help shape the future of their new business initiatives.
As a New Business Manager, your primary goal will be to support the studio in securing new and strategic projects, creating exceptional pitching documentation, and ensuring the studio's ethos is reflected in every opportunity. You'll need to have a wealth of industry experience, excellent written and graphic design skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. If you love working proactively and collaboratively, especially with senior-level colleagues, this role is perfect for you.
In this role, you will manage all incoming enquiries, filter and present selected ones to the senior management team, and produce agendas for weekly New Business and Monthly Management meetings. You'll be responsible for producing bids, pitches, EOIs, PQQs, and client presentations, ensuring they meet the highest standards. You'll also brief the senior team ahead of networking events, maintain in-house databases, undertake market research, and represent the practice at client and industry events.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a great communicator, capable of managing multiple internal and external stakeholders. You should have a strong background in new business within the architecture industry, with up-to-date contacts and the ability to implement strategic initiatives independently. Proficiency in InDesign and knowledge of Photoshop are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight. Above all, a passion for design and the built environment is a must.
This full-time position is based in their London studio, and you must have the right to live and work in the UK.
