This renowned studio is celebrated for its contemporary, sustainable designs, working on bespoke residential and commercial projects across the UK. Currently operating both remotely and from their office in Southwark, they are seeking a talented and committed Senior Architect to bring new ideas and energy to their small, collaborative team.


As a Senior Architect, you'll be at the forefront of leading projects and teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-end residential and hospitality projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from generating creative designs and preparing technical specifications to managing client relationships and leading design workshops. Your leadership skills will be crucial as you guide the team, handle feedback, and maintain the vision for each project.


Key responsibilities include:

- Leading projects and teams to successful completion, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.

- Conducting design and technical workshops, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Liaising with clients to address issues promptly and meet project requirements.

- Fostering productive relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

- Creating and reviewing drawings, integrating sustainable design principles, and managing information packages.

- Reporting to the internal and external project team, identifying project risks, and seeking opportunities to improve processes.


To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A comprehensive portfolio and at least five years of work experience as an architect.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

- ARB registration is ideal but not mandatory.

- Experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects (restaurants and hotels).

- Permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

- Strong organization, self-motivation, and collaboration skills.

- Proficiency in sustainable design and architecture, with a keen interest in high levels of design and detail.

- Working knowledge of all RIBA work stages.

- Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, InDesign, and Photoshop.


The studio values fairness and transparency, using a pay formula based on the RIBA Benchmarking Survey to ensure market-level pay and eliminate pay gaps. The salary for this position is £45,000, with a comprehensive benefits package available after six months.
