Private Patient Coordinator | Woodthorpe Hospital | Full Time 37.5 Hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, driven and dedicated individual to join our private patient services team. Based at the Woodthorpe Hospital, the main objective of the role is to assist in growing the Self-Pay and Private Medically Insured admissions to defined targets for Woodthorpe Hospital. This is a busy and demanding role so candidates will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met. They will have the flexibility to respond to requests from consultants and colleagues and will be able to work under their own initiative. The role will report to the Private Patient Manager and work with Consultants, Consultant Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Clinical and Administration Teams. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week with flexibility, as required, to meet the needs of the role.

What you will bring:

  • Previous sales and marketing experience

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to admission

  • Sound computer skills using the MS Office

  • Confident in engaging with a variety of people

  • Articulate, with excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing

  • The highest standard of personal presentation

  • Goal focussed and results-driven

  • Private healthcare experience - desirable
