The Client

My client is a market leading alternative asset manager focused on Systematic investing, while also providing services including multi asset execution, prime brokerage and risk services to institutional clients globally.


They are looking for a bright STEM graduate with circa 1-3 years industry experience to join a team of sales professionals focusing on client origination and relationship management to expand market share across their product suite covering leveraged FX & CFD, principal FX & PM market making & technology services.

What You'll Do

  • Proactive Lead generation and sales prospecting.
  • Targeted outbound sales effort to senior business decision makers.
  • Qualify new leads proactively utilising different sales techniques and a solution-based approach.
  • Follow up prospected business opportunities by consistently managing sales tasks and CRM in an organised accurate manner.
  • Drive client engagement through product demonstration and persuasive pitch presentation.
  • Advance the most relevant opportunities in the sales funnel and build a prospective pipeline.
  • Attend face to face meeting with prospecting clients along with the Senior Sales team.
  • Optimise revenue in partnership with the Electronic Trading, Quant Research & Client Service teams.
  • Feedback market intelligence to the partner teams driving product strategy and competitive positioning.


What You'll Need

  • A degree in a STEM discipline from a top tier educational institution.
  • Circa 1-3 years professional experience, ideally in a financial markets oriented business, or sales focused role.
  • A strong interest in financial markets, technology and operations.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income, FX & OTC or Listed Derivatives would be highly beneficial.
  • Some technical experience including Python and/or Excel would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self starter with an enquiring mind, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
