As a Senior Partner or Partner in one of our insurance agencies in the Highlands or North East Scotland, you’ll quickly become a principal figure in an established team, using your strong people and client facing skills to forge new commercial alliances and build long lasting relationships to help grow an already successful business in this ever-evolving sector.

This is also a genuine personal growth opportunity, with an absolute commercial focus, underpinned by the support of one of the UK’s largest insurers.

Your experience and commercial flair

Working alongside existing partners, you’ll be part of your agency’s leadership team and a catalyst to growing the business at pace. Focusing on which markets to target and putting plans in place, your strong work ethic and innovative mindset will inspire the team to drive performance and deliver visible results. Able to combine an agricultural background or relevant commercial experience in managing large accounts, with proven leadership skills, you’ll create bespoke insurance solutions that meet the needs of a fast-changing marketplace.

Rewards and support

As a self-employed Senior Partner/Partner and Agent of NFU Mutual, your earnings are based on the performance of the agency and a share of the profits. However, this is a self-employed opportunity with a difference. Unlike most business ventures which demand start-up funding or venture buy-ins, our model requires zero capital investment.

With further opportunities and growth expected in both agricultural and commercial sectors across the Highlands and North East Scotland, your energy, drive, vision and personal ambition are the only limit to your future earning potential.

NFU Group Secretary

One of the other aspects of this opportunity is being appointed an NFU Group Secretary. You’ll be the voice of the Union, bringing the agriculture community together and sharing best-practice and policy updates. With full backing from the NFU, you’ll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership numbers to marketing and media. In this role you’re supporting the needs of all active members in your locality, helping to grow the membership and opening doors to future business opportunities for your agency.
