Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager. This is your chance to join an IT leader specialising in providing advanced wireless connectivity solutions, including in building mobile coverage and loT solutions.
What You Can Expect
* Location – Farnborough (Hybrid)
* Salary – £65,000 plus uncapped commission
* Industry – IT/ SAAS
* Work type – Permanent
Main Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager
* Identify and pursue potential clients, building a robust pipeline of opportunities.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target markets such as construction.
* Collaborating with pre-sales and solution architects to develop customised solutions that address client needs.
* Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring they align with company objectives and client requirements.
* Craft compelling proposals and tenders for enterprise clients, highlighting value propositions and differentiating factors.
* Manage signed clients for 6-12 months after signing to seek opportunities for upselling.
* Work closely with the marketing department to create compelling marketing campaigns to drive inbound enquiries.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* Minimum of 5 year’s experience in Business Development.
* Experience in the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through to preparing bids or tenders.
* Strong experience selling wireless connectivity solutions, specifically 5G.
* A bachelors degree in a relevant field.
* A background in construction, IOT or Smart Solutions would be preferred.
* A self motivated and driven individual.
