Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing business growth strategies in the Defence market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead business development activities to achieve annual targets in the Defence market.
  • Develop and maintain senior relationships with major Defence clients to position Leidos as a strategic supplier.
  • Oversee bid teams in the pursuit and shaping of business development campaigns.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities that best match Leidos' strengths and provide optimum outcomes for clients.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop innovative campaigns to bring Leidos' global capabilities to the Defence market.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience selling IT services in the Defence market.
  • Existing client relationships in the UK Ministry of Defence.
  • A track record of successfully driving business growth year on year and hitting targets.
  • Demonstrable experience of success in leading and winning contracts valued in excess of £25m.
